Overview

Congratulations! This course is the culmination of your year’s work. In this module you will learn the essentials of fundraising, and how to create a persuasive accelerator application and presentation for investors.

This course will be personalized and focused on where you are with your start-up; that way, we will help you figure out the next step(s) you need to take in order to have a successful venture. This module will be different to what you’re used to, as the time will be split between lectures and personalized coaching for you and your team. This setup will allow us, as teachers, to personalize our teaching to your startup's situation and help you prepare for life after graduation, aka: getting into the real world and being prepared to talk to actual investors.

The course is designed based on my personal learnings of founding Rockstart and working with 150 startups who raised EUR 70 million and are now worth EUR 350 million.

Learning highlights

  • 10 general lessons learned around fundraising
  • Having an A++ accelerator application form ready with feedback from the teacher to continue startup after Demo Day
  • Creating a high quality Demo Day pitch where all the most important elements investors are looking for are present
  • Communication skills; presenting your project with authenticity
  • Defining useful metrics
