Emphasizing an evolutionary approach, the curriculum will present students with the development of business model canvases—from traditional designs through platform-based models to those focused on sustainability and ecosystem integration. The course's key focus is mastering the dynamics of change, which includes navigating transformations, managing risks, and strategically aligning organizational culture with business strategy. Prerequisites

Ideal participants will bring intellectual curiosity, a spirit of teamwork, and pragmatic thinking to the table. While work experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. This course is designed for those prepared to engage deeply, push the boundaries of business models, and collaborate effectively to craft cutting-edge business solutions.

Methodology

This course empowers participants with the skills to apply their knowledge in dynamic business contexts effectively. Generative AI will be explored as a key tool for decision-making. Students will learn to integrate this technology into their strategic thinking, using real-world business cases from various industries. This hands-on approach will guide participants in transitioning from traditional linear business models to innovative circular ones.

Throughout the course, we will explore, for example, the pivotal roles of reverse logistics and product design, learning from the latest ISO59010_2024 to strengthen sustainability cases within circular business models. This innovative approach will enhance participants' ability to adapt business model frameworks to specific scenarios and leverage AI-generated insights for substantive business model innovation.

Throughout the course, students will engage intensively with multiple business cases, working in teams led by the instructor in her previous role as CEO. This setup is designed to provide a deep understanding of the dynamics of teamwork and change within corporate structures, offering students a practical, leadership-focused perspective on driving business transformation.

Grading

The final grade will be composed of the following criteria:
40% - Teamwork during the class
40% - Creative + critical thinking
20% - Group project preparation and presentation
