Overview

This course offers students a comprehensive introduction to data visualisation and information design. Through this course, students will learn how to effectively communicate complex information using visual and audio elements. This will enable them to create visually compelling and informative representations of data, including data sonification.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Figma is a plus.

Methodology

The learning process will consist of a combination of workshops, exercises, lectures, and group work. Students will actively participate in hands-on exercises and collaborate on group and individual projects to apply the learned concepts. The course will encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, fostering an interactive and engaging learning environment.

The course will feature two main projects, from ideation to completion:

Her work has been exhibited internationally and commissioned by The National Gallery, Lufthansa Group, The British Library, Unit London, and Condenast, blending scientific precision with artistic expression to craft impactful visual experiences.
