Overview

In this course we will observe the fundamentals for creating the best technical project. Together, we will go step-by-step through different approaches, from project idea to project presentation. The main objective of this course is for students to prepare their first project that they will further develop in future modules.

Methodology

This course includes lectures, workshops, individual and group work. The final presentation of this course will be showcased in a project format.

Grading

The final grade will be composed of the following criteria:
20% - Participation in classes
30% - Workshops
50% - Project preparing and presentation

Self Employed Analyst

Anna has various experience in project and product management, startups, educational and research projects connected with machine learning, product analytics. She has started her career at Yandex (Russia’s biggest technology company specializing in Internet-related products and services) and worked with different projects such as machine learning in industrial applications, connected cars and online educational service.

Anna worked as the Head of Analytics position and built a team with four directions of working: product, marketing, and financial analytics, and data infrastructure. Besides, she has students at Higher School of Economics every year where they learn programming on Python.
