Skills you’ll learn
There are roughly 900 million users worldwide on LinkedIn, and on average, 77 job applications are submitted every second. As a job seeker, this means the odds are stacked against you—especially if you're using a generic CV to apply for multiple roles. This is particularly true in the tech industry, where the most relevant skills for a product or engineering role can vary significantly depending on the sector, company maturity (startup vs. big tech), and type of product (e.g., B2C app vs. internal platform).
Whether you're an aspiring product manager, designer, or software engineer, this course will help you take a more intentional approach to your job search strategy. The course is divided into two parts:
Core skills to help you stand out—both in interviews and in the early stages of your career.
Maximising your chances of landing your desired role—by learning how to optimise your LinkedIn profile and resume, build a strong network with recruiters and hiring managers, and interview like a top-tier candidate.

With 12 years of experience in consulting and product management, David has led cross-functional teams to develop and scale a wide range of digital products: from e-learning platforms for small business owners to consumer mobile banking apps.
While living in El Salvador, David spent 18 months applying for product management jobs trying to move to Spain with his family. During this time, he truly refined his approach for applying and interviewing for jobs. This allowed him to go from dozens of failed applications to consistently reaching last-round interviews. Ultimately, in January 2023, he landed a Head of Product role with a full relocation package to Barcelona.
