Overview
The Fundamentals of Digital Product Management course provides a practical introduction to the enduring principles and contemporary practices used to build successful digital products. Students will learn how to identify meaningful customer problems, define product vision and strategy, prioritise opportunities, validate solutions, collaborate with design and engineering, use data, and bring products to market.
The course also introduces AI-augmented product management as a core part of modern product practice. Students will use contemporary AI tools to synthesise customer research, explore markets and strategic options, analyse product data, create and critique product artifacts, build functional prototypes, and automate selected recurring workflows.
Students will learn not only how to use AI effectively, but also how to evaluate its outputs, manage uncertainty and hallucinations, protect sensitive information, and understand where human judgement, product sense, creativity, communication, and accountability remain essential.
