Overview
Calculus is a way of thinking about change. In this course, we start with real questions - how fast is something moving, how much space does it cover, and what’s the best possible outcome? - and let the mathematics grow out of them. By the end, students will be comfortable using derivatives and integrals to understand and solve real problems, not just recite rules.

Prerequisites
Comfort with algebra, functions, and graphs from high school.
Methodology
Each class combines explanation with practice, so ideas are applied straight away rather than simply accumulating. New topics begin with a concrete example rather than a definition. Weekly homework and short daily quizzes reinforce learning throughout the course, which concludes with a final exam.
