Skills you’ll learn
This three-week course explores the intersection of storytelling, design, and AI through hands-on creative practice. Students will learn how to collaborate with conversational AI engines and creative tools such as MidJourney, Flux, Freepik, Reve AI, Ideogram, and many others. Each week focuses on a thematic module: Memory, Continuity & Short Story Development, and Homage to the disruptive book “The Illustrated Man”, celebrating its 75th anniversary.
The course combines lectures, workshops, and weekly creative projects, culminating in a final project where students design a visual or motion-based narrative inspired by Ray Bradbury’s The Illustrated Man. It emphasises experimentation, conceptual thinking, and technical proficiency in creative AI tools. Optional: students may present their work as part of an exhibition dedicated to AI, design, and speculative futures.
