Skills you’ll learn
Overview
Pitching your technology, your company or yourself is hard. Complexity doesn’t like to be put in a 3 minute pitch, but often that’s all the time there is. Public speaking can become torturous. How can I boil down complex topics to the precise essence, without losing all the depth? How can I keep the attention of my audience without being a performer? How do I stop my voice from being shaky? And where the hell do I put my hands? Well, guess what, life’s a pitch. In these 3 weeks, you’ll be getting a deep understanding of your own individual presentation skill set, you’ll learn about the two-way street of body language, how to use powerpoint powerfully and how to hack the spoken word into something worth listening to.
Learning highlights
- Learning how to create a professional presentation deck, that covers your topic in depth but is delivered in simplicity
- Being aware of your own individual presenting style and understand the psychology behind it
- Knowing how to improve your own speaking performance and how to deliver a story with dramaturgical impact and authenticity
