Prerequisites

Basic understanding of product thinking or entrepreneurship.

Willingness to work in teams and talk to real users.

No coding or design background required.

Previous exposure to innovation courses is a plus but not mandatory.

Methodology

The course follows an intensive, hands-on, learning-by-doing format. Students are grouped into start-up teams and guided through iterative sprints: discovery, validation, prototyping, and pitching. Daily check-ins, live feedback, and peer reviews replace traditional lectures. Emphasis is placed on real-world interactions — students are expected to engage with actual users, gather feedback, and make product decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions. Think of it as a mini start-up accelerator disguised as a course.

Grading

The final grade will be composed of the following criteria:
25% - Active participation in class
50% - Number & quality of interviews/experiments conducted
25% - Participation
