Overview
The financial and insurance industries are the blood in the body called the world economy. In this module you will learn about the world of FinTech and Insurtech which are two of the fastest growing startup areas. We will discuss these industries and the disruption potential in more detail.
We will look at numerous concrete examples both on paper and in real life (startup presentations). At the end of the session you should not only have gotten many new insights but also a concrete idea on what your future business would look like.
Learning highlights
- The overall objective is to enable the student to look differently at the world and get an idea of his/her future place in this world. There will be 3 different phases where different learning goals are in the forefront.
- Phase no. 1 is about learning and understanding the current system and get an insight on the pain points in the existing models which could translate into business opportunities.
- In phase no. 2 we explore and learn about current business cases disrupting/redefining the financial world.
- And finally we go one step higher and come from a future world scenario to the business idea.

Prerequisites
This course is one of three in a wholistic series.
Students that have already taken MSL-111 and those with prior experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript building simple web pages will be good candidates for this module.
Hannes S. Chopra is the CEO of RaSa Future Fund, a private equity fund investing into early stage technological start-ups disrupting the financial/insurance world. He is also the CEO of RaSa Consulting UG, a boutique leadership development firm.

Yes. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate signed by the director of the program your course belonged to.
