Faculty Profile
Kara Prosser is a design and innovation leader who specialises in tackling big, messy, human problems, the kind that cut across systems, cultures, and organisations. Over the past 15 years, she has worked in more than 40 countries, using design thinking to help teams reimagine experiences, redesign services, and build strategies that genuinely improve people’s lives.
She has partnered with organisations including AstraZeneca, the WHO, Google, QANTAS, the UN, governments, and global corporates to address challenges such as vaccine access, cancer treatment, malaria eradication, climate resilience, education, and violence against women.
Kara is a strategist, designer, facilitator and storyteller, with a background spanning experience design, behavioural research, human centred AI, and business strategy. She has built multi million pound pipelines, led global teams, and delivered programmes that influence policy and transform industries.
With 15 years of experience across the digital agency and top tier consulting world, Kara is the founder of Design For, a consultancy focused on designing for both human impact and commercial performance, because the strongest outcomes deliver both.
An Aussie based in London, Kara is deeply passionate about the role design thinking can play in solving some of the biggest challenges we face, and believes the best ideas come from bringing people together to create change that truly matters.
