
Ekaterina Smyshliaeva

Ekaterina was born in 1992 in Russia. She graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Computer Science Department) in 2015.
She has been working in the field of cryptography since 2013, and currently she is lead engineer-analyst, responsible for all activities of the company in the field of standardisation of cryptographic mechanisms. Ekaterina has an extensive experience in synthesis and cryptanalysis of the security algorithms and protocols.
She is an expert in Russian Technical Committee “Cryptography and Information Security” (TC 26) of Russian governmental standardisation organisation (Rosstandart). She is the author of more than 10 standards and specifications in Rosstandart, TC26 and IETF, including “The use of the Russian cryptographic algorithms in TLS 1.2” and “Guidelines on the cryptographic algorithms, accompanying the usage of block ciphers.”
