Robert Fishman
Faculty Profile
Drawing on over 35 years of business ownership, Rob Fishman is President of Sandler, a Metro NY–based company that focuses on executive sales leadership, sales management, and the sales process itself. He has coached, trained, and mentored sales and sales management teams, in addition to executive sales leaders, on the Sandler methodology, helping his clients extract the growth and profitability they are seeking.
Rob possesses a varied business and management background in his years as a business owner. In his many years at the helm of his company, Rob was a member of an executive peer-accountability group with an intense focus on strategic planning, leadership, marketing, management, as well as sales development.
This has helped Rob in his passion for helping firms, large and small, in more than sixty industries to significantly improve their sales and business results through an intensive process of unique, incremental reinforcement training of attitudinal and behavioural change.
After running a successful Long Island–based business, Rob sold his company and joined forces with Rich Isaac, a veteran Sandler trainer. After 17 years at Sandler, Rob has helped local companies and individuals in addition to national and international organisations.
His book, Retail Success in an Online World, outlines the essential tactics and strategies for retailers to engage, win new customers, and enjoy higher levels of relevance in their respective market areas.
In his spare time, Rob is also a conservatory-trained musician, pianist, conductor, and music director, performing in and around the Metro New York and Long Island areas.
