
Irina Rudenko
Faculty Profile
Irina is a Data Scientist at Yandex Self-Driving Group with strong mathematical background.
She received a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree with honors in 2018 from DIHT MIPT, the Department of Data Analysis (the basic organization – Yandex).
As a data scientist, Irina worked at Yandex.Weather on satellite nowcasting algorithms and developed weather-related scenarios for Yandex.Alice. Currently Irina is working in the Scene modelling group a.k.a. Prediction team at Yandex Self-Driving Group. Some of the results of the projects she has participated in have been published at KDD’19 and NeurIPS’20.
As a lecturer or teaching assistant, Irina taught formal languages theory (2018) and basic data science (2020-2021) to MIPT students, co-authored the Machine Learning course for Yandex Lyceum++ and the Self-Driving Cars course for Yandex School of Data Analysis.
