The module covers different aspects of cybersecurity and cyber risk from the architecture point of view, covering various aspects from threat modeling, risk identification, analysis and treatment; security requirement development and security governance strategies, aligned with the most common frameworks. We will examine the main aspects of building an Information Security Management System of modern Enterprises while focusing on eight major security domains, ranging from Risk Management to Software Development Security in the context of three areas - People, Process and Technologies.
We analyze the main risks and threats of Enterprise Cybersecurity and risk mitigation using predictive, preventive, detective and corrective security controls. An overview of the modern security toolkit beginning from Next-Generation Firewalls and Antiviruses and finishing with publishing SandBox and User Behavior Analytics will be presented.

The learner needs to have an understanding on cybersecurity topics, security incident, risks and threats, response process and networking
Each session will consist of a lecture and a practical part, in which students will solve problems related to the topic of the lecture and get practical assignments.
There will be one topic to be developed in teams, where the students would need to apply the topics seen during the daily lectures, a final report should be delivered in the 12th Session.
Computer engineer and security professional with more than 15 years of hands-on experience and wide understanding of computer and information security. Has played several roles along his career such as senior incident response specialist and team leader (CERTuy), information security and project manager (AGESIC), senior security consultant and country security manager (Atos), global security architect (Clariant), CISO (Adium Pharma) and Chief Security Officer (Atos Major Events) among others. Possess sound experience on the implantation and maintenance of information security and IT governance in public and private sector, based on frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, Cloud Security Alliance, etc.
