Your Path To Success Starts at Harbour.Space

On October 22nd Harbour.Space hosted a webinar about our work & study programme with participants from various parts of the world, such as Europe, Northern Africa, Central and South-Eastern Asia. The webinar was hosted by Polina Nazarova, a head of corporate partnerships at Harbour.Space, and an honored guest Guillem Serra, a CEO and co-founder of MediQuo, with both of them sharing valuable insights about the programme.

Work & study model launched by Harbour.Space Institute of Technology allows talents from all over the world not only receive education from renowned specialists but also gain hands-on experience in a real company, working on real projects. The teachers are experts in their fields with years of experience and unwavering dedication towards passing their knowledge to new generations and their knowledge, combined with yours, can be leveraged in order to excel your job.

What Profiles Are Considered Eligible for the Programme?

There are two types of talents that are considered. The first one is the ‘raw diamond’ – people from high-schools who are stem-competitors with gold medals, and the second one is people who already have work experience in tech field. All profiles which the new economy demands are eligible: full stack developer, data scientist, ML/AI engineer, UX/UI designer, digital marketer, and so on.

What Are the Corporate Partnerships?

A wide variety of companies sponsor the work & study programme, ranging from big corporations to startups and to government organisations. The likeliest companies you would be matched to are startups and scaleups, because those are in need of people like you: with passion and fresh ideas.

Partnership With Mediquo

Guillem Serra is the CEO and Co-founder of MediQuo – a long-time partner of Harbour.Space. He shared the story of the company’s partnership with Harbour.Space and its students, stating that Harbour.Space has been a key partner these past years for multiple reasons:

  • The students are very passionate and talented, coming from various countries. The profile of Harbour.Space’s students is one of the best, from human quality to technological skills and, most importantly, interest. Guillem Serra mentions that even though they are technically students, their skill set allows them to work to their full potential.
  • Those who had taken part in the programme continued to work with MediQuo and formed a magnificent and diligent team, which has been a key success factor for the company. From the beginning they worked with production-ready products, impacting the releases of MediQuo.
  • The main reason for agreeing to sponsor the programme, according to Guillem, is the initial filter that students go through during the admission process. The people who get chosen are pure talent and passion and therefore are willing to work with the company for a long time, which, for startups especially, is vital.
