I'm using my skills to make an impact, one student at a time.
Team Member Profile
I'm part of the digital product design team and also a student of the Interaction Design Masters program. I get to help make Harbour.Space's digital ecosystem a more enjoyable experience for both our students and team members. I was born and raised in Mexico, but I feel at home in Barcelona (second time living here). Previously, I worked in a furniture factory (decided it wasn't for me), as a researcher in a Forestry Lab, in a couple of educational institutions and initiatives, co-founded a design studio back in Mexico and also won a couple of design awards.

How has being in Harbour.Space affected the way you look at education?
It has shown me that education doesn't have to be traditional and slow-paced. Changing the formula and having a fast-pace enables you to bring in industry leaders which exposes students to great ideas. Also the staff counts - they create the right condition for great things to happen.

Why did you join Harbour.Space?
I've always felt that a good share of the world's problems exist due to the lack of access to quality education. Joining Harbour.Space allows me to use my skills and have a positive impact on our society, one student at a time.
