Harbour.Space receives 8 badges of excellence

The Global Students Satisfaction Awards (GSSA) have been carried out by Studyportals since 2018, and were created as a “way to empower students to review their university and help future students make an informed decision” about their forthcoming learning selection.

They believe that the alumni are the best ambassadors for a university and so have developed the only global university ranking where the students are the sole jury.

They evaluate their universities in eight different categories:

  1. Student-teacher interaction

  2. Quality of student life

  3. Student diversity

  4. Career development

  5. Overall satisfaction

  6. Admission process

  7. Online classroom experience

  8. Covid-19 crisis management

2021 Awards

This year Studyportals received more than 108,000 reviews across 4,000 organizations and we are proud to announce that Harbour.Space got eight badges of excellence, which represent a score above 4 (out of 5 possible points) in all of the categories, with “Student-teacher Interaction” attaining the highest score at 4.7.

Valuation Guidelines

  • Best university – students review their overall experience at the university (courses, admission process, personal development, teachers, etc.).
  • Student-teacher interaction – students rate teachers on how they engage with them (communication, feedback, after-class support).
  • Quality of student life – overall student lifestyle and whether the university’s city fulfilled expectations.
  • Career development – whether the students receive help for their career development after leaving the institution, if the university offers internships for alumni, if they have extracurricular courses or workshops available.
  • Student diversity – does the university celebrate, value and promote the different cultures, religions, and nationalities that appear amongst their students and staff?
  • Admission process – whether it is easy to navigate, if the university provides enough information, if the university assists the student throughout the process, whether the staff are friendly and helpful.
  • Online classroom experience – whether the online format is well-done and easy to follow, how the online class interaction and overall quality of the online teaching is.
  • Covid-19 Crisis management – Did the university do a good job handling the Covid-19 crisis? Did they give enough support to the students during the duration of the pandemic?
