Benjamin Scheerbarth studied organisational theory and critical management in Manchester and Copenhagen before receiving his Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University, where he collaborated closely with GSD’s Sustainable Exuma Lab and MIT’s Senseable City Lab.

First professional experiences range from commercial masterplanning in Russia to the development of capacity building methodologies for UN-Habitat.

Benjamin currently consults what might be referred to as Berlin’s first creative district at Das Eckwerk and heads a major research initiative, The Implementation Gap, at TSPA.
